
I took mine off from time to time as well. They will get messy and hard to use if there is a lot of mud. A lot of our team did not use them at all. If you are running a race for time, forget the camera or use a GoPro.įor gloves, there are too many options to pick. You also just want to have someone that knows that they are capturing all they can. Being able to wear the camera would really help capture it all. A GoPro would definitely be a cool add on for future races.

It gave us some good footage but was definitely a bit of work to get out of the pack whenever we wanted it. You will get beat up going over these walls and crawling on hard ground.įor a camera, we had 1 Kodak Playsport hand held camera. The big benefit to leggings or compression socks is protecting your legs.

On our colder race, I ended up getting some leggings and long sleeve performance under shirt to cut the wind. These will hold a lot less water! Keep your shorts shorter (like traditional running shorts – not bball shorts) to avoid any unnecessary hang ups). With anything though, look for nylons and polyesters. Ideally you want something for the climate you are running in. But in our group, we had a lot of race gear that really helped. Now there are always people that run these races in just gym shorts, a cotton tee, and grubby shoes.
